Regional Water Supply Planning Group

It’s time again for the monthly meeting of the Regional Water Supply Planning Group (RWSPG)! This meeting will feature three exciting presentations that explore Illinois Water Law and Policies. Speakers will be Mr. Gary Clark from the IDNR, Office of Water Resources; Dr. Jack Wittman from Hydro Planning Associates, Inc.; and Professor A. Dan Tarlock from Chicago - Kent College of Law. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about water planning in Northeastern Illinois.
At the last meeting, participants enjoyed presentations about water reuse systems, including specific Illinois requirements and USEPA nutrient standards.. In addition, the group was treated to an optional guided tour of the 57 acre Wetland Mitigation Bank managed by the DeKalb County Forest Preserve District. See meeting minutes and other info about the RWSPG at http://chicagoareaplanning.org/watersupply.
